Are you curious about stepping into the world of competitive cheer—but not quite ready to commit full-time? Golden Elite’s Mid-Season All-Star program offers the perfect balance: structure, performance, team energy, and flexibility.
What Is Mid-Season Cheer?
Our Mid-Season teams begin each November and run through early spring, giving athletes ages 4 to 18 a chance to experience competitive cheer without the full-year obligation. Golden Elite Allstars
Rather than a long travel season, you’ll still get all the core components of All-Star cheer—stunting, tumbling, jumps, motions, choreography—in a supportive and fun environment. Golden Elite Allstars
This makes Mid-Season ideal for:
Athletes who are involved in other sports or extracurriculars
Beginners who want to test the waters before committing full-time
Families wanting a more balanced schedule
Those who want to build foundational skills before trying full-season teams

Why Mid-Season Is a Great Option
Flexibility Because the program is shorter and less travel-intensive, it fits better with school, other sports, and family life.
Skill Development The program is designed to build technique, confidence, and performance ability in a lower-pressure setting. Golden Elite Allstars
Community & Team Experience Athletes join a team, make new friends, and engage in the camaraderie of cheer, all while growing their abilities.
Pathway to Full Season Mid-Season gives you real insight into the sport and whether you’d like to step up to a full-season team later.
Supportive Culture At Golden Elite, the emphasis is on encouragement, effort, and growth—not just wins.
As one parent noted:
“My daughter built a solid foundation with three years of sideline cheer before joining GEA, and her growth has been remarkable. In just her first season with the GEA mid-season program, she’s developed so many new skills … she’s hooked and plans to try out for the full season.” Golden Elite Allstars
