Meet the Team

Yvonne Howerton is the owner of Just Tumble. She has over 35 years of teaching gymnastics and tumbling experience. 

Yvonne opened Just Tumble in 2003 with the goal of providing a safe and fun environment for kids to learn and grow through gymnastics and tumbling. As a mother of two children, Yvonne understands the importance of physical activity and the positive impact it can have on a child's development.

Devin Allen is from Sacramento, California. Devin cheered on The California Allstars BLACK OPS, where he won silver and gold at the Cheerleading World Championships. Devin is also in the Nfinity Legend’s Hall of Fame.

For the last seven years, Devin has been providing choreography services for programs across the nation. His talent for his craft has catapulted his popularity as a choreographer in the industry.

Devin is well-known for his routines with fast-paced and continuous movements that are packed with originality and personality.

Hi, I'm  Coach Lauren. Before joining GEA, was a founding member of Power Allstars (Sacramento) and cheered on both Level 5 Small Coed and Level 5 Large Senior Open All Girl for five years.

My passion and drive have already taken our athletes at GEA to new heights, and now, as I step into her new leadership role alongside Cheer Director Devin Allen (3x World Champion)

Hi, I’m Sammie! Cheer has been my life since I was 4½ years old. I’ve trained and competed with some of the most respected programs in the industry — including Royal All Stars,  Cheergyms, Power, and California All Stars. My cheer journey includes taking the floor at The Cheerleading Worlds with Power in 2015 and competing with Cali Black Ops in 2016, where we earned 4th in the world! I was also proud to serve as an alternate for Cali Ghost Recon, contributing to some of the highest-level performances in the sport.

"Hi, I'm Coach Noelle. I have been coaching competitive cheer since 2004. I am also a fitness instructor (yoga, pilates, Body Pump, Step) and a former gymnast and spring board diver.

I am available for private tumbling, balance and flexibility lessons.  During these lessons my main focus is on correct technique to make progression to more advanced skills easier and safer.

My name is Amber, I have been a cheer coach for over 6 years 4 of them being with GEA, I also coach tumbling. Teaching children new tumbling skills is a passion of mine. I am available to do privates up to level 3 tumbling skills. I also do stunting privates. Please text me at 530-282-6646!

Hi, my name is Audrey Hartsgrove! I’ve been coaching gymnastics and cheerleading for over 20 years and have had the joy of working with athletes of all ages and skill levels. My passion lies in building strong fundamentals, fostering confidence, and helping every athlete reach their full potential — both on and off the mat.

With decades of experience, I bring energy, technique, and heart to every class and team I coach. Whether you're just starting out or looking to take your skills to the next level, I’m here to support and inspire your journey.

My name is Kiana Mattson and I was practically born into the cheer world! I grew up in gymnastics then quickly transitioned into allstar cheerleading at 10 years old. Ever since then, I have never left the mat! Whether that's coaching competition teams with GEA or tumbling just for fun, cheerleading will always be apart of my life. I feel eternally grateful to be able to spread my love for this sport onto the next generation. I am available for private lessons Thursdays and Sundays, with sporadic availability throughout the week. 

My name is Makenna Barker. I coach both cheerleading and tumbling. I was a competitive cheerleader for 11 years and have won the Cheerleading Worlds and Cheersport Nationals. 

Hello! I’m Crissy, and I’ve been proudly coaching at Just Tumble for the past 2 years. With over 10 years of tumbling experience, I bring both passion and knowledge to every class. I’ve had the pleasure of coaching all levels—from cheer teams to tumbling classes—and love helping athletes build confidence and master new skills.
